Google’s breaks ground on new digs.

Google has just made a major investment in its future in Seattle.

The company broke ground on its new South Lake Union campus this week, with its sweeping views of the lake.

The former parking lots (pictured) are prime real estate in the city, just across from waterfront restaurants and the city’s Museum of History and Industry and right around the corner from Amazon.

The project is being developed by Vulcan Real Estate and will include 600,000 square feet of office space and two residential offices.

Seattle is definitely on a hot streak lately when it comes to landing new tech offices. F5 Networks recently agreed to take over one of the city’s newest skyscrapers in the downtown core and companies like Facebook, Apple and Space X continue to increase their presence here.
