Founded in 2000 and currently headquartered in the Seattle Washington area, PharmaIN evolved from drug delivery provider to drug developer of proprietary peptide-based drugs for outpatient therapy. The Lead programs are PHIN-214 and PHIN-1314. PHIN-214 is for Refractory Ascites, in US Phase 1 clinical trials— First-in-Class subcutaneous outpatient therapy enabling long-term effective intervention prior to liver transplantation. PHIN-1314 is a vascular immune response modifier—First-in-Class, with a mechanism of action distinct from Avastin; its single-agent and synergistic efficacy with approved immuno-oncology drugs are well documented in various animal models.

Sound Pharmaceuticals
SPI is developing the first therapeutic drugs for the treatment of hearing loss and tinnitus across four different neurotologic indications. We have completed six randomized controlled trials, and have four ongoing RCTs, with our lead drug SPI-1005. Our Meniere’s disease Phase 3 clinical trial is in study start-up at 20 leading US academic and clinical sites. We have had active discussions with 4 leading academic sites in Korea to conduct a similar Phase 3 trial. In addition, our novel anti-inflammatory is being tested in Phase 2 RCTs in two neuropsychiatric indications and in viral respiratory indications including COVID-19.
