At the Office of Economic Development and Competitiveness, we know nothing beats face-to-face interaction with key decision-makers. Our OEDC team within the Washington State Department of Commerce offers introductions and more, partnering with you at regional, national and international trade shows, missions, and other trade events. We know there is no substitute for the value of being in person to build trusted, interpersonal relationships.

Take a STEP in the right direction to offset international expansion costs.

Funded in part by the SBA’s State Trade Expansion Program (STEP), the Export Voucher program provides direct cash assistance to help develop an export program to generate international sales. Eligible reimbursements include expenses for trade show or trade mission fees, airfare, interpreter and translation services, export training programs and more.
