Bringing Washington game makers to a global players table
Tabletop games (TTG) create magic between those at the players’ table. This unique industry segment is at the crossroads where Information Communication Technology (ICT) meets the creative economy. The Secretary of State is bringing board game creators in Washington state to the global marketplace. Tokyo Game Market is a exhibition event centered around tabletop games, card games and more. Whether retailers or TTG enthusiasts, this event offers a unique opportunity for game play. Last year, Secretary Steve Hobbs led a similar delegation of game creators to Spiel Essen, in Germany.

Dream Compendium/Legends of GADIA
Legends of GADIA is a newly released, original indie card game that was successfully crowdfunded on Kickstarter in 24 hours! Sprung from the pages of the GADIA novel series, this game was designed by the novel’s author, Su Mon Han, and is available for the first time in Japan at Tokyo Game Market! A fast, fun and highly strategic card game it features the beautiful, hand-illustrated art of 12 legendary heroes from the world of GADIA, and is the same game played in-world in the books.
