With a predicted world demand for 2.6 billion pounds of french fries, ConAgra is doubling down on Washington State with a $200 million expansion of its Richland manufacturing facility.
The expansion will add a second processing line that when completed in 2017, will allow the plant to turn 300 million pounds of Washington potatoes into french fries.
The expansion will create 128 additional people when completed.
