Football is arguably America’s sport these days. Now Microsoft offers up their vision for what televised entertainment will be like in the future, thanks to the HoloLens.

The device may one day be able to put you and your friends in the driver’s seat come game time. Hand gestures will control the display of stats, replays and interactions with your favorite players. You may even be able to pull up the stadium and plop it right down on your coffee table to see all the action or get a visit from your favorite player from the sidelines.

HoloLens is just another example of how Washington’s Information & Communication Technology sector is changing the world of computing and gaming through breathtaking innovation and invention.
