Pioneering new technologies for rocket engines, Blue Origin is developing, testing and likely to be building it’s natural gas fueled rockets at its main facility in Kent, Washington. Blue Origin’s mission has been to enable private human access to space with reusable vertical takeoff and landing vehicles. Their initial focus was on sub-orbital flight, but their latest technologies have brought them a contract to supply rocket engines for orbital flights for the U.S.-based United Launch Alliance, a partnership of Boeing and Lockheed Martin.
