traffic jamThe efficient movement of people and goods is critical to keeping our economy moving forward.  Washington State’s Kirkland-based Inrix uses information pulled from data sources such as over 300 million connected cars and devices, GPS and algorithmically-generated flow data to give us real-time information about the traffic congestion ahead of us.

Inrix has just announced a deal with the U.S. Federal Highway Administration to provide state and municipal travel information it gathers to help measure and improve car and freight movement across the country. Read more in Geekwire.
