Cyanogen is the brainchild of a self-described ‘hacker’ and a tech mogul who want “to give control back to users everywhere in far more meaningful ways.”

The open source operating system platform, CyanogenMod, currently has over 50 million users in 190 countries. Now the goal of Cyanogen is to get it into commercial channels so you can have this OS on your Android smart phone right out of the box.
